I appreciate furniture that surprises and offers some sort of experience, i.e. movement. Construcion-wise I have a fascination for slim and flexible, but at the same time strong. Common for many of my projects is some kind of visual illusion in the objects. I have done several projects with mirrors where I have worked on creating a surprising effect in the reflection. The OHH mirror from 2010 and the Tunnel mirror from 2009, are projects where I explored the possibilities of an altered reflection; creating something in the reflected picture that does not exist in “reality”. The Glow clock uses the reflected light of a strong color to create a “glow” and highlight the minute and hour hand of the time piece. Strong colors are also present in my Topp lamp for Established & sons and on the legs of the sofa TED.
